Some writers who want to make income begin by consulting, which is to say that they write for clients. This can be profitable but is also time-consuming. There are only so many hours in a day, so these people are limited as to what they can make. Personally, I’ve chosen to make money writing on HubPages, because that was one of the fastest ways to create revenue without having to invest any money.
If you want to follow that path, beware. There’s a steep learning curve. It’ll only be by accident that you actually make some cash if you do not do extensive keyword research before you do anything else. Why is that? Because you have to discover what people are searching for and configure your HubPages copy accordingly to get the search engines to end you traffic. If the search engines don’t drive traffic your way, you probably won’t be able to produce any income.
I won’t lie to you. Making money on HubPages or in any other Internet marketing venture will take some work and experience. But I can tell you that it’s certainly possible, because I have done it.
