The long wait was over.  Spain brought their crown as they defeated Netherlands on its final round last July 11, 2010 with the score of 1-0. Everybody was waiting to see which team would bring home the bacon as they were both having impressive records in terms of championship, Netherlands making the 2010 World Cup its 3rd appearance in finals in the history of FIFA World Cup and Spain having 4 appearances in quarter finals and finally 2010 FIFA World Cup brought the first championship to their country.

Andres Iniesta’s goal in the 116^th minute gave Spain its first ever crown in FIFA world cup. Italy the 2006 Champion as well as the runner-up France didn’t make it to the second round. South Africa team, host of the event also didn’t make it to the second round. This world cup event  holds the record of a host country and the defending  2006 FIFA champions not making to the second round games. This is the first FIFA world cup record  that a European country won outside its home continent.

The 2010 World Cup was the 19^th FIFA World Cup as it was held every four years. World cup was held as the worlds most viewed sporting event as almost 715.1 million people watched the 2006 final match.It was by proposition process that South Africa was chosen to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Only 32 teams were selected to participate the world cup via qualification tournament.

Paul the “psychic” Octopus got  medias’ attention as he sealed a perfect record in forecasting eight perfect predictions. He has been the 2010 world cup sensation as he forecasted 7 games of Germany and the victory of Spain in the finals. He was asked to go straight to the box with flags of the two opposing teams. That has been a tough job for the psychic octopus as he got threats from the bitter Germans as Paul predicted that Germany will loose from Spain. During semi finals of Germany versus Spain, almost 350, 000 Germans watching the game in  big screen in Berlin sang an anti octopus songs. The 2010 world cup has been successful and gave a great entertainment in people worldwide. The 2014 FIFA World Cup would be something to be look forward for surely it will again give excitement and entertainment to people around the globe.

Despite the fact that H. pylori infection is one of the most common infectious diseases on earth, the way in which it is transmitted is not precisely known. There are several reasons for this: First, there are numerous sources of infection. These studies, called epidemiologic studies, are one way to study diseases before much is known about how they occur. Epidemiologists, who are scientists trained in the mathematical analysis of health data, work to determine causes of disease by examining data from large populations of people. They gather huge amounts of information from a wide array of sources and then perform mathematical analyses to determine whether there is any statistical, or mathematical, association between a given factor and the presence of the disease.

Epidemiologists make use of government health statistics, medical and death records, and personal interviews with patients and physicians to piece together the complex clues that tell the story of the disease-causing organism and its victims. They gather data about everything they can think of, such as the person’s age, educational level, occupation, neighborhood, family size, h pylori diet, number and type of pets, marital status, and family medical history, to name a few. Then, by putting these clues together, the epidemiologist tries to identify things that infected people have in common, and how an infected person’s lifestyle brings him or her into contact with the organism. Individually, factors like age, gender, or income seem very general and do not reveal much about the disease, but when placed together a pattern begins to emerge.

The pattern of infection in developed countries differs markedly from that of developing countries, and the underlying causes of infection in developed countries are less clearly defined. In the US, Canada, and Western Europe the rate of infection is comparably quite low. The frequency of infection in these countries increases with age, suggesting that the most common mode of transmission is probably not parent to child. The practice of water chlorination and the widespread availability of flush toilets and sewage disposal systems reduce the opportunity for infection in the general environment.

While the overall rate of infection is lower in developed countries, it is not uniformly lower. There are pockets of infection in developed countries, some of which are associated with poverty, the strongest factor determining the pattern of infection. Also, immigrant populations whose origins are in developing countries typically have higher rates of infection than the general population. For example, in a recent study of H pylori infection rates of Mexican-Americans, the rate of infection among recent Mexican immigrants was similar to the rate of infection in Mexico, but among Mexican-Americans born in the U.S., the rate of infection was more similar to the U.S. population- at-large.

If one has chosen a pre-painted fiber cement siding that does not require further painting. If one has chosen to go with a white or other caulking, they will be able to see every seam. Compared to the vinyl and wood material, fiber cement is more fire resistant. It is also tougher and stronger than vinyl.

Fiber cement siding has its advantages; it also has its disadvantages. First is that it is expensive than vinyl and wood. Fiber cement siding also does not have insulating properties that is why it is not the best way of saving energy for years.  Another disadvantage is that it is not a do-it-yourself job. This material needs the help of a professional. Each type of siding material has its own advantages and disadvantages on some point and fiber cement siding is not an exception.

Before considering the cost of the fiber cement siding, do not forget to include the cost when removing the existing siding. Usually the removal of the cement siding cost a lot more that the installation.  A lot of factors can affect the cost of the fiber cement siding. A fiber cement siding can cause from a range of $4.50 to $10 per square foot. With this, if one has an exterior square feet of 1,200 then it would require the person to spend almost $6,000 to $12,000.  On the other hand, the fiber cements siding cost a lot.
